During your guided walk through the forest, you’ll have the opportunity to observe blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and a variety of forest bird species and butterflies. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the forest’s unique trees, some of which are up to 200 years old. A highlight of the tour is the sacred Mvule tree (Milicia excelsa), estimated to be 196 years old. This revered tree is a spiritual site where locals come to pray for various needs.
