Tour Highlight

Our five-day Tanzania Couple Safari delivers an intimate, exhilarating, and deeply immersive journey into the heart of East Africa’s legendary wild. Carefully curated for couples seeking both adventure and romance, this exclusive itinerary brings you face-to-face with nature’s greatest spectacles across the region’s three most iconic destinations.

Your journey begins in Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and massive elephant herds. From there, you will venture into the endless plains of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, where you will track the Big Five and witness the raw drama of the African savannah. Finally, you will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular natural wonder offering an unparalleled density of wildlife in an ancient volcanic caldera. Together, you will share the thrill of world-class game viewing, witness jaw-dropping landscapes, and create a lifetime of unforgettable memories in just five extraordinary days.

Tour Plan

After a safari briefing in the morning and an approximately two-hour drive, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. Tarangire is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted here. From the open roof of the safari jeep, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to Eileens Trees Inn, Karatu., where you will spend the night.

  • Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the eastern Serengeti. You’ll reach the plains of Serengeti National Park by midday. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape. Predators are often seen here. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at Tukaone Tented Camp inside the park.

  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

This morning you will continue with your game drives in the Serengeti. At noon you will leave for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As soon as you reach the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will see the giant caldera below—which makes for a breathtaking view. You will spend the night at Ngorongoro Wild Camp..

  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Lake Manyara National Park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans, and storks can also be found here. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions. During the safari you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other animal species. After the game drive you will head to Arusha and the airport.

Great excursion to the waterfall with a coffee tour Very nice hike with our guide William to the waterfall at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. He told us a lot about the plants, animals, and Materuni. Afterwards, we were allowed to learn how coffee is made from raw coffee beans. Freshly brewed, really very delicious! A warm meal rounded off the beautiful day. We can highly recommend this excursion.

Super tourist Great to do. First a nice walk around the area. And slowly you hear the waterfall and when you are there it gives you a beautiful view of the waterfall. Walking back, you come to the coffee plantation and first get a super lunch. After lunch, everything is told about the beans and what you need to make coffee. After the explanation, you will grind beans the old-fashioned way. And it was sung. After grinding, the coffee is brewed and deliciously drunk.

Amazing Materuni ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A highly recommended experience! We hiked to Materuni Waterfalls, had a big and tasty lunch at the village, and then visited the coffee plantations and enjoyed the traditional coffee ceremony, taking part in the whole process. We had such a great time! A special mention to our guide, Colman Alexander, who was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. He is also a botanist, so along the way he taught us lots of interesting things about the local plants, wildlife and culture, which made the experience even more special. We’d also like to thank our driver, who was very kind and attentive throughout the day and made all our transfers comfortable and enjoyable. We 100% recommend Colman Alexander and this whole experience. Definitely worth it if you’re visiting the Kilimanjaro area! 🌿🏔️☕️

Great waterfall hike and coffee experience with Silvester We had a wonderful day at Materuni, thanks largely to our guide Silvester. He led us to the waterfalls with great knowledge and answered all our questions, yet was never intrusive, giving us time to enjoy the scenery at our own pace. The coffee experience afterwards was a lovely highlight too. Friendly, calm and very competent, highly recommended

Super experience! Super fun experience! Our guide Stephania explained everything neatly, calmly, and enjoyably. The hike to the waterfall was fun and a nice length. Making coffee yourself was super fun and the people made a party out of it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An amazing experience with Robert in Materuni* We had an absolutely fantastic experience in Materuni with our local guide, Robert. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, and he made the whole experience truly special. We visited the Materuni Waterfalls, where Robert taught us so much about the local culture, vegetation, wildlife and the area in general. He has a huge amount of knowledge and clearly loves sharing it with visitors. We then enjoyed a delicious local meal and learned about the whole coffee-making process — from how the coffee is picked to how it is traditionally prepared. And, of course, we got to taste it at the end! It was a really authentic and fascinating experience. Robert speaks excellent English, explains everything very clearly and is always happy to answer questions. He also took amazing photos of us, capturing some really special moments that we will keep as memories of our trip. What made the experience even better was the opportunity to learn about Materuni and Tanzanian culture from someone so passionate and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this experience, and especially Robert as a guide. If you are visiting the area, don’t hesitate to book it — you won’t regret it! Thank you so much, Robert, for such an unforgettable day! 🇹🇿❤️

Amazing experience with an exceptional guide! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Materuni Waterfall and the coffee tour, and a huge part of it was thanks to our wonderful guide, Colman. From beginning to end, Colman was attentive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything in great detail and made the whole experience interesting, fun and very enjoyable. He also speaks perfect Spanish, which was a huge bonus for us and allowed us to fully appreciate all his explanations. The waterfall was spectacular, the coffee experience was fascinating, and the whole day was beautifully organized. Colman’s enthusiasm and professionalism really made the difference and turned an already amazing excursion into something truly special. Thank you, Colman, for making this such a memorable experience. We couldn’t recommend him and this tour highly enough!
