Tour Plan
Morning – Pick-up & Transfer
Pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and transfer to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Materuni Waterfall Hike
Upon arrival, register at the village office and begin a guided walk (approximately 30–45 minutes) through lush greenery, coffee farms, and Chagga villages to the spectacular Materuni Waterfall (approx. 80 meters high). Take time to relax, enjoy photos, and optionally swim in the natural pool at the waterfall. Lunch at Materuni Homes. Return to the village for a freshly prepared traditional hot lunch.
Traditional Coffee Tour
Participate in an authentic Chagga coffee-making experience. Learn how to pick ripe coffee cherries, dry, roast, and grind them using traditional methods. Finally, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee prepared by your own hands.
