Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Materuni Village, you will be warmly welcomed by our local team and transferred to Materuni Homes for check-in. After settling in, begin your adventure with a guided walk through the lush green landscapes of the village to the stunning Materuni Waterfall. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, fresh mountain air, and great photo opportunities.
After the waterfall visit, continue with the famous Materuni Coffee Tour, where you will experience the traditional Chagga coffee-making process—from bean to cup. You will have the chance to roast, grind, and taste your own freshly prepared organic coffee.
A delicious hot local lunch will be served during the day. In the afternoon, continue with a cultural village experience, including: Visits to local family homes, Insight into Chagga traditions, farming, and daily life. Optional visit to local bars and introduction to traditional banana beer. In the evening, return to Materuni Homes for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Meals included: Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, enjoy a short guided village walk for a deeper connection with the community. This will include the cooking class and the Visit to a local primary school, visit to local churches, interaction with villagers and local activities. After the experience, return to the Materuni Homes for the refreshen up, and prepare for departure. You will then be transferred back to Moshi or your next destination, marking the end of your Materuni experience.
